The NYC Summer 2019 Bucket List
New York City is a concrete jungle, with its subway feeling like hell, and your A/C looking like its about to die. But there’s actually so much things you can do in NYC: Surfing? We’ve got that. Whale watching? That too. Sailing? Obviously.
Don’t despair if you spend your summer in New York, either in an office or at school, we have the ultimate NYC Summer 2019 Bucket List to give you all the summer vibes without leaving the five boroughs!
1. Get Ice Cream (classic)
2. Organize a picnic or a barbecue in your favorite park.
3. Head to one of NYC bee-gardens
4. Check out the pools on Rooftop
5. Get oysters and sip on champagne at Grand Banks, a gorgeous wood boat docked on the Hudson River
6. Use the facilities along the Hudson River, they have free courts for Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, etc.
7. Try to take the water on a sailboat.
8. Or in a Kayak! It’s free!
9. Grab a blanket, some chips, and head to a park for the free summer night movie screenings!
10. Ride your bike to the beach!
11. Just climb the Vessel to get it out of your list
12. Get a pass for the day and enjoy the rides at Coney Island
13. Cool down—like for real—inside a cryotherapy chamber
14. Play with Moby Dick at whale-watching adventure in the Rockaways.
15. Play it 100% and rent a Jetski!
16. Have some tea on the veranda of Alexander Hamilton’s Harlem home.
17. Try the ropes course of the Bronx Zoo’s Treetop Adventure
18. See a free SummerStage show
19. Wander the street with the Summer Streets
20. Go see a game at the Yankee stadium or at the U.S. Open
